Bethpage Couple Win
"Night On The Town"
Nassau County Executive Ralph G. Caso inspects an 8.S0O pound,
fullscale model of the Apollo Lunar Module which will he donated to
the county by the Friends dm*^s.sau County Museum. The 23' LM
was built by Grumman .Aerospace and used by CBS-TV for
simulation purposes in their coverage of the Apollo lunar landings.

Bethpage H.S. Regents Winners
The New York State Education
Department has announced the
names of the Bethpage High
School pupils who have won
Regents College Scholarships
effective with the 1974-75
academic year.
The basis for awarding
scholarships is the score in the
Regents Scholarship and College
Qualification Test, a 6-hour test
administered measuring high
school achievement and general
academic ability.
Each scholarship entitles the
recipient to an award of $250 to
$1,000 a year, depending on
family income, for up to 5 years
of study in New York State.
Winners may also receive
scholar incentive assistance of up
to $600 a year.
The scholarships authorized
and the number of alternates
designated for Bethpage follows -

Margaret and Ronald
Galante, of 16 Wilson
Lane, Bethpage, are the
winners of the "1973
Holiday Festival-Night on
the Town".
The 1973 Holiday
Festival was sponsored by
the Bethpage Tribune,
with the cooperation and
help of many of the local
merchants. It created a
"goodwill atmosphere"
among the merchants and.
shoppers1 and made many
people aware of the
benefits of shopping
locally.
Mrs. Galante, who filled
out the winning coupon at
Hart-Bymor Drugs, on
Stewart Avenue, in
Bethpage, was quite
shocked to hear she and
her husband were the
winners of the raffle. She
was delighted and surprised
that, not only were
they to wine, dine and
dance at Brandy's
Restaurant.in Hicksville,
but that they were also the
recipients of many gifts
from the local merchants.
She exclaimed, "I had no

The Galantes have
resided in Bethpage for
over 2\-> years, after
moving from Glen Cove,
where they were both
raised. They have two sons
- Ronald, Jr., 3»/2 y"s. and
Michael, 9 mos. Mr.
Galante, is a member of
the Bethpage Fire Dept.
He is employed at Garden
City Bowl-and needless to
say, is an avHJJ-bowler.
Mrs. Galante enjoys
sewing knitting and
playing the piano, when
she's not busy attending to
their two boys.
Margaret and Ronald
Galante will have their
evening out at Brandy's
Restaurant, at Broadway
and New South Road, in
H i c k s v i l l e . The
R e s t a u r a n t , which
features music 6 nights a
week (Sundays they are
only open for catered
parties), is open for luncheons
Monday thru
Fridays (accepts all major
credit cards). Monday
Night is "Singles Night" at
the Restaurant - featuring
a "free breakfast and
champagne at mufoighiV.

be happy to make reservations.
