THREE CHEERS!
Bethpage Water has again been
selected as the best tasting and
most aesthetically pleasing water
in Nassau County by the Nassau
County Board of Health. The
Water District Commissioners
received a citation from Kathleen
Gaffney, Commissioner of the
Department of Health, recognizing
the District's achievement.
This year's award represents the
third time in the last five years
Bethpage Water has earned the
^<^*g^«a^
top honors in taste competition.
The District will now send samples
of its water to the State competition.
The District hopes to better
its second place State finish it
achieved two years ago. Commissioner
Bill Ellinger, in accepting
the award, stated that the District
well sites are fortunate to be
located in a section of the aquifer
that is naturally pure and free of
salts and minerals that affect the
water's taste.

Water Tasting Contest
Nassau County, New York
Dear Mr. Krumholz:
Nassau County would like to congratulate you for winning the
County's water tasting contest, which was held during Public Health
Week, April 3-7, 1995. In recognition of this achievement, we present
you with this proclamation stating that the public found your water
to have an excellent aesthetic quality.
The contest gave the public a wonderful opportunity to sample and
appreciate the water from sixteen public water suppliers located in
our County. Once again, I would like to express our appreciation for
your participation in this contest.
