GREEN THUMBS AT WORK
The children of the 3-4pm class at Bethpage Co-Op Nursery School prove that even young thumbs can be green.
Led by Ms. Sara the children take a stroll from the Nursery School
to the Library park. Ronda Lamprecht and Ms. Mary make sure all
the little planters arrive safe and sound.

Even though the official start of
Summer is not for about another
week or so it seems Bethpage
residents, children, business
owners and even schools are
getting into the "Green" of things.
Last week children from the 3-4
year old afternoon class at Bethpage
Co-Op Nursery School went
to the park behind the library to
spruce it up a bit. Most people
know that this park was sort of
adopted by David and Ronda
Lamprecht as well as other residents
of Bethpage who care
deeply about not only this park but
the overall appearance of Bethpage.
The idea in adopting this
specific park was to stop all the
graffiti and vandalism and turn the
park into a place that families
could enjoy and entertain their
children in.
That wish has become a reality
as the Library park has truly
undergone a transformation during
the past year. A mural was
