Once agaiin - YOUR BETHPAGE
WATER was chosen "BEST
TASTING" in a Taste Contest
sponsored by New York State
Dept of Health on Aug. 18, 1995
held at the American Museum of
Natural History.
On May 11th, our water qualified
for this regionaltaste- contest by
being selected the best tasting
water in Nassau County. Our
competition on August 18th was
the following winners from the
various counties or regions: City
of Yonkers (Westchester County),
Village of Goshen (Orange
County), South Huntington Water
District (Suffolk County), Highland
Water District (Ulster
County) and New York City. The
outcome proves we not only have
the best tasting water on Long
Island but also in the Downstate
Region.
As regional winners, we now
qualify to represent our area, one
of the five regions in a New York
State, Taste Contest to be held at
the State Fair in Syracuse oh
August 28th.
Commissioner Gerard Donlon
will be hand delivering three
gallons of our ice cold crystal clear
best tasting water to this final
competition. Wish us luck - we'll
keep you informed of the
results....and Have a Drink1 on Us!
