AN OPEN LETTERFROM THE
BETHPAGE BASEBALL ASSOCIATION
The following is an open letter from our Sponsorship Committee:
Dear Friends of Bethpage Baseball:
On behalf of the Bethpage Baseball Association, Inc., the 500 young
boys and girls, and over 400 families, I would like to thank this year's
sponsors. We are very lucky to have the support of our local merchants.
This year we lost some sponsors, but I am happy to say, we were
able to obtain new ones. I urge the Bethpage Baseball family to support
the merchants who so generously gave to support OUR children. I
will personally deliver a schedule to all sponsors so that they may
come to the game to root their team on.
Very truly yours;
MARK FELDMAN;

Hi! I'm a 20 lb. beagle with big
brown eyes. I am 3 years old, and
my name is Noel. I'm pretty cute,
I think. My best friend's name is
Mandy. She is 10 years old and
she loves me a lot. She takes good
care of me, and plays with me, but
we have a big problem. That's why
I'm writing this because I am very
sad. Mandy's family has to move
because the house we rent is being
sold, and they can't find another
house or apartment to rent
because of me.
Everyone says no pets, no pets,
no pets! I don't understand, I just
lay around all day. I don't bother
anyone, but everyone thinks I will
destroy their home, and it's just
not true.
People should not judge me. I'm
living in a beautiful house, it's
clean and Mandy's mom has beau-that
that
not
fully
tiful things and keeps them [very
nice. I would never ruin anyone's
home, honest I wouldn't. It would
break my heart if they had to leave
me behind, please don't let
happen. You don't realize
people are sloppy and dirty
us pets. It makes no sense, I'm
trained, I don't bark a lot, and I'm
kind of afraid of everything. PI Base
think about this a little, we need
a home right now and no one
wants me. Give us a chanoer I
know you will like me, and you
won't be sorry, I promise. We really
want to live in Bethpage, Mardy's
friends and family are here.
If you feel you want to rent to
us, and get to know me, please call
Anne, Mandy's Mom at 249-4807.
I will be your friend too, aid I
might even show you some cute
tricks I've learned.
Dear Noel and your owners,
Saying merely that this situation is unfair is truly an understate
ment. I sincerely think that not many people today realize the
importance of pets in the lives of so many. And while I can understand
the reasoning of some landlords I must say that not all pets are
destructive...it is however some tenants who can be the true 'animals
Very often children as well as adults need the companionship of
a pet. The unconditional love that a pet provides its owner is
something very special and unless you have ever felt the whifi of
a wagging dogs tail when you come home or the affectionate leg
