BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT
The BETHPAGE TRIBUNE has been born today to serve you.
It is your hometown newspaper designed to report all the happenings in your
town.
The Bethpage area —. large, sprawling, unincorporated - has its share of "ups
and downs", "tears and laughter," "pride and glory."
A community needs to share these happenings with its residents. Neighbors
become more than house numbers; they become warm human beings living
together in the community and sharing with one another.,
A community newspaper helps to tie together the various segments of the
population and many times develops and inspires a sense of pride and
responsibility in the community.
A community newspaper can be the voice of the people rising up to petition
for justice or rallying for a worthy cause.
A community newspaper can be a spur that enlivens the town as well as the
needle that makes its leadersi aware of ;ibe:':cpr^un^-n^s.
A community newspaper becomes the record of the community.
A community newspaper can help stimulate interest in the business and
shopping centers in the Town. It can remind the residents to support their local
merchants and keep the economy healthy in the town.
A community newspaper can fill a need. Won't you help us be a good
community newspaper?
