A FAIR TO REMEMBER
Even Toby stopped by to pay a visit to Bethpage and hop on a ride
or two. '
Gary and Dariene Bretton of Bretton's Deli had yummy food and big
smiles serving it.
This year's Bethpage Chamber of
Commerce Summer Festival was by
far the best we have ever had. Thanks
especially to Mother Nature for providing
us with custom ordered perfect
weather for the two day festival. As in
year's past the Bethpage Chamber of
Commerce tries, a through this festival
, to allow families to enjoy the
weekend together with neighbors
and merchants. It was the Chamber's
hope that this festival would highlight
all the good in Bethpage and that includes
the wonderful residents which
make Bethpage such a special place

special word of thanks to Carolynn
Gillespie of CJ & Co who each year
has a five star country western line
dancing display. This year she had
the crowd memorized with the fanciest
of footwork and country music
fun.
One aspect of this festival that
was different than in years past was
that the Chamber decided to have a
pay once price bracelet for the entire
event. It was the Chambers thought
that the festival should be made more
affordable for families. Some of the
complaints that we had heard in years
was that a family would literally spend
