The Bethpage Wildcats girls U-11
soccer team took first place in this
weekend's Memorial Day Tournament,
in Voorhees, New Jersey. The
Wildcats were selected and placed
to compete in the competition's top
ranked Premier Division, and faced
South Jersey's number one and two
ranked teams in the state. They
finished with a record of 3 wins, 0
losses and 1 tie.
Briana led the team in scoring
with 6 goals. Other goal scorers
included Emily with 2, Sarah with 2,
Danielle R. with 1 and Danielle M.
with 1. Goaltender Casey posted
one shutout, and had only four goals
onship in a row, as earlier this year
they took first place in both the East
Meadow Tournament and the
Oceanside Tournament.

continued success is a result of their
offensive speed, defensive strength,
aggressive goaltending, overall
discipline and drive to win.

place with 6 wins and 0 losses in the
