Bethpage Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Summer
Festival on August 13 and 14
Quite plainly the most Fireworks has provide Bethpage
anticipated event of the Summer,
The Bethpage Chamber of
Commerce Summer Festival, is
just one week away and promises
to be jam packed full of fun for
the entire family. As always this
two day extravaganza will
feature fabulous rides and
midway games, which are
provided by Newton
Amusements. Year after year
Newton Amusements provides the
Chamber with quality rides and
games and this festival would
certainly never be the same
without them. Once again the
Chamber will be keeping the
PAY ONE PRICE bracelet the
same price as last year, For only
$20 you can ride all the fabulous
rides all night long. And don't
forget to bring your Tribune
bucks to the fair to receive $2.00
off of the POP bracelet
compliments of the Bethpage
Tribune and the Chamber of
Commerce. As always the
Chamber will have a huge
variety of food to satisfy the
hungriest of appetites and plenty
of snacks and goodies for the
little ones. And
entertainment...well there will be
plenty of it. Friday night we will
be featuring the music of Radio
Daze, a great band playing the
sounds of classic rock and on
Saturday evening our DJ
entertainment will keep everyone
dancing all night long. This
festival would never be complete
without our traditional Saturday
evening fireworks which are
brought to us each Bay
Fireworks. Year after year Bay
with a fabulous show and this
year is a very special event for
Bay Fireworks and the Chamber
of Commerce as this year's
fireworks display will be
dedicated in memory of Walter
(Bucky) Kuhle. Walter or Bucky
as most Bethpage residents knew
him, year after year insured that
our fireworks were always
spectacular as he was a valued
employee of Bay fireworks.
Tragically he passed away
several months ago and will
surely be missed. This year's
fireworks display is in his honor
and will truly be THE BEST
EVER!
This year's festival would
never have been possible if not
