Bethpage Students Visit Quebec!
Recently, a group of Bethpage French students had an amazing trip to Quebec. Since the trip took place during Winter Carnival they had a very
exciting trip. Activities that were crowd pleasers included dog sledding adventures and snow tubing exploits. Students were awed by their visit to the Ice
Hotel and enjoyed exploring Old Quebec as well as the Winter Carnival sites.
While middle school students stayed with their chaperones at Hotel Manoir Lafayette, the high school students participated in a total immersion
home stay program. They stayed with French Canadian families and had the opportunity to practice their language skills. The program was such a success
that many students want to go back to Winter Carnival next year.

Congratulations to the Bethpage Golden Girls on their win on April 2,
2006 at the Long Island Championship. They add the title LI Champs-
Kick to their recently won National Champs Pom. If you want to get
involved with the team and you are in 8th grade please come to try-outs
on May 22. Information will be posted at the school. For elementary students
K-5 in the district there will be a dance clinic on May 13. Email
bethpagekick@hotmail.com for a registration form. Act quickly spots are
tilling up. The Golden Cirls would like to once again thank their families,
school district, and community for endless support. Congratulations
Golden Cirls on an unforgettable season.
