Prevents Volatile Situation
On October 25 the Bethpage Fire Department responded to a report of a
building fire at XAire A/C & Heating Services located at 105 Bloomingdale
Road. Upon arrival Chief Patsos found a large amount of wooden pallets on
fire that had spread to a trailer housing propane and freon as well as into the
building itself. Quick action by the crews arriving, knocked down the fire
preventing a very volatile and dangerous situation. Hicksville, Farmingdale,
Plainview and Levittown FDs also assisted in this alarm.

Very Special Couple
Bill & Joyce Quigley of Bethpage were married on June 23, 1956 at Our
Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Brooklyn, NY. They renewed their vows
::• March at a ceremony presided over by Bishop William Murphy. They
have three children and five grandchildren. A party attended by family
was given by their children. Bill and Joyce enjoy traveling and spending
time with their grandchildren. A cruise to the Bahamas in July was to celebrate
their anniversary. *
