MAKING PROGRESS!!
Bethpage Skating Rink Construction in Full Swing
A view from behind the fence at the Bethpage Community Park shows the extensive progress that the Town of Oyster Bay has made in building the
new skating facility. The once vast hole in the ground is completely filled and the structural beams are now in place. This state of the art facility is
set to open in 2008 and will be a wonderful addition to the community as too will the much anticapted reopening of the park.
The American flag flies proudly from one of the structural beams inside
the skating structure.

Town of Oyster Bay workers recently removed overgrown trees from
the south side commuter parking lot near Central Avenue. This new
renovation included the removal of those trees, new sidewalks as
well as the planting of new trees in the Spring. The sidewalk in that
area was in need of repair and this will be a welcomed improvement
to the commuter area.
