Rev. Elmer R. Loux, pastor, left Monday for Redfield, Oswego County, to pay a brief visit to his daughter who has charge nf the school there. Rev. A. E. Crane will preach next Sunday, both morning and evening.
A children's chorus has been formed in the church. 'J he present number is twenty. During the morning service, the pastor pr<<aches a short sermon to them, after which they sing. It bas added much value to the service and ii an attractive feature.
Next Sunday, the annual offering for Home and Foreign Missions will bo received.

Forty-four dioceses report increases in the Catholic population, forty arch¬ dioceses and dioceses made no change in the population figure and fifte'^n dibceses shows decreases, although three of the fifteen showing decreases have given up territory for the estab¬ lishment nf two nett dioceses of El Paso and Spokane.—Tablet.

The Freeport Suffragists made a I speechless appeal for their cause by 'covering the six polling places in tbe village primaries last Saturday, March 18.
