Considerable complaint is heard con¬ sidering the low limbs <jf trees over¬ hanging sidewalks and roadways. A village ordinance provides that these
lowest branches must be at least eight j visit Niagara Falls and Canada, feet from the sidewalk when they are now as low as tive or even four feet. The Street Commissioner is obliged to notify the owners of all such trees to trim the limbs and if they do not, to for the have J.he work done at their expense, the amount to he levied the same as a village tax.
