l-'nity Council No. i'>, to be located at Hosedale, was organized Friday ev¬ ening in the Council chambers of Free- port Council No. 57.
The meeting of Freepor* Council opened at 7 :.'jO, and when the visitors arrived, they were ready to receive them. Forty two new members were received for Ro?edale Council, eight for Hemjistead and two for Freeport, all three degrees heing exemplified under direction of ['. C. Hilbert li. Johnson and P. C. C. Wesley Golden.
Rosedale Council was organized bv Councilor Burgwardt of liernp-teaJ, who instituted the new Council there but a few nionths ago, and whicii al ready hag oVer a hundred niemlier-. Junior Past State Councilor Joseph D. Tunison, acting as State Councihr, in stituted the new Council, P. C. l.ewry of Brooklyn acting as State Councilor.
P. C. F. S. Snedeker, sr., of Free- port Council was appointed Deputy over the new (,'ouncil. Two former residents of F'reeport, Messrs. Seale the new brother of Henry Hill, a member of Freeport Council.
