Tuesday night that $42,282 had
been raised In Freeport to date/Ray

campaign haa gotten off to a big
sfamt with $074^81 reported. Mrs.
Waaser also announced' that the
house-to-house canvass wag under
way here. ^
The development of the" campaign
to, raise, the $1,260,000 haa been di-
*vided into twp phasea. The first
phase, which .lasted .from. August,'
1949 until laat month, was & public

public that dt waa a community .hos-pital,
non-iprofit Inatltutlon, gov-erned
by a board of directors repre-senting
the villages which the hos-pital,
servea, who give of .their time
and" money and aerve without pay.

for the'hospital facilities, the serv-ice
record which 'the hospital has
had and in general give vthe public
a better understanding of the hos-pital's
service to Ahe community. The
