ending June 30, President William
J, Martin, ST., announced today.
They totaled $10,036,686.56 as
oompared with $9,021,797.16 as of
December 31, last, a gain of $1,016,-
091.40 in three montihs.
•First Mortgage Loans rose from
$7,904,080.62 to $8,52ff,440.60 an in-crease
of $724,32d.98. There was a
gain of $80,000 in investments and
securities jwith $485,000 as of June

Frank E. Filkihs receives certificate from Selwyn B. Shook, presi-dent
of the Exchange Club of Freeport, designating him as the Youth
of the Month Committee, and Frank C, Filklns, proud father of the
youth. The Exchange Club picks one youth each month for this honor
and the certificate Is presented at the weekly luncheon. Filklns por-trayed
the role of Henry Aldrich in the Freeport HUb School senior
play, was one of the masters of. ceremonies.at the Variety -Show,
toasfmaster at the National Honor Society, and one of ;thc three
speakers at the commencement exercises. He is spending the "sum-mer
on a dairy form at Chagrin Falls, O., and will enter Cornell
in the fall. "'
