the Village Board Monday night in
the Municipal Building. Trustees
Leonard D. B. Smith and Cord Vie-brock,
who were re-elected in March
took over for another two-years
term. The Kev. Reginald H. Scott,
rector of the Traoisfiguration Epis-copal
Church, as usual opened the
meeting with the Invocation,
In opening the meeting Mayor
Robert L. Doxsee renewed his pledge
to give the village the best admin-istration
possible in his capacity as
mayor. He said he and the members
of the board has done .their best to
live up to their promises and though
it had been impossible to keep every-body
happy, he' believed tihe people
of Preeport have fadth in the Vil-lage
(Fathers' integrity and hold
them in goodwill, otherwise -they
would have re-elected Trustees
Smith and Viebrock in an uncon-tested
election;
"We have dried to be a credit to
the village and ourselves," he con-tinued.
