for the Fall Semester of Adult
Education, according to Walter
J. Sullivan, Director of Adult
Education for School District 22.
An upsurge in interest was shown
in French, German, Hebrew and
Italian. For the first time in
years all of these language
classes achieved the necessary
enrollment.
Typewriting, Bookkeeping,
Shorthand, Guitar, Judo, Cabinet

According to Sullivan, this was
the largest number to enroll in
Adult Education since the Pro- anticipated for the Winter Seme-gram

three years ago. He said " It
is a tribute to our townspeople
and the interest they have expressed
in education throughout
the years".
An even larger registration is
ster. Any person or group interested
in requesting courses
to be offered in the Adult Education

who are studying local history took a tour on Tuesday of the Thomas Powell home
at 33 Merriti Road, Farmingdale followed by a bus tour of the rest of the 15 square
