The fabulous Normettes of Norma's School of Dance were AMAZING!!!
Our beautiful Christmas tree , which each year is donated
by Frank Camerlengo of Emil s Landscaping, was lit to the
cheers of the hundreds of residents who took part in the
Bethpage Chamber of Commerce 2009 Holiday Lighting
Ceremony. Special thanks to the Bethpage Junior
Firefighters and Frank Ceglio for putting the lights on our
tree and thanks to Jean Ceglio, who went out and pur-chased
all the lights. We now call them Mr & Mrs. Claus!
Unique Impressions made sure everyone had-plenty
of popcorn. Thanks Charlie and Helen
Century 21 American Homes/ Metro donated the yummy hot
chocolate and Madison served it up with a smile!
The man of the hour... Santa Claus arrived via
the Bethpage Fire Department
What a wonderful night for the community of Bethpage! On December 6, hundreds of residents came to
the center of town for a holiday tradition that for many marks the start of the holiday season. The Bethpage
Chamber of Commerce Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony is a true old- fashioned celebration and this year
was a fantastic success. The warm temps certainly added to the impressive crowd, which was complete with a
phenomenal performance by Norma s School of Dance, the St. Paul s Choir and even a visit from Santa him-self
compliments of the Bethpage Fire Department. Members of the clergy spoke to the crowd and residents
gathered together to sing, dance to the music of Vic Macaluso our DJ and take part in the lighting of our gor-geous
Christmas tree and beautiful Menorah. The Chamber featured an all new tractor ride and many local
merchants gave out free refreshments and treats for the young and young at heart. ( See inside for more)
Bethpage s beautiful Menorah. Special thanks to
Kevin I mm for all the wonderful photos!
