From the Bethpage High
School Political Activities Club,
came Jeanne Candiotte, Prexy,
Linda Center, Liz Brown,
Stephanie Tita, Andrey Cooney,
Nick Canonica and Lori Cpnti.
This little group, from an original
two dozen volunteers, took on the
task of cleaning up the Northern
approaches and exits and the
surrounding area to the Oyster
Bay Expressway, which were in
a most deplorable condition, due
to littering. They did an excellent
job in a limited time, despite the
fact that it was possible to
complete their assignment... as
was attented to by the more than
three dozen bags of litter they
loaded ... plus odds and ends of
wood and metals. The community
owes them a vote of
thanks.
Coming down the age scale, we
meet Girl Scouts Diane and
Donna Yarcel and Maria Bar-bieri,
all from Troop No. 3049 ...
and their reliable leader, Susan
Dunne. Add to this industrious
bevy of Girl Scouts the following
4H Bethpage Council Kids, Bob
Convey of 4H Skateboarders and
Dawn Cirino. Colleen Cosgriff,
