1982 Kickoff Parade
Bethpage High School Band leads the Parade.
Panther
Football
Sunday, September 12th opened the 18th
annual season of the Bethpage Midget Football
players, with a parade up Stewart Avenue. Mr.
Cohan added a special touch with the outstanding
muscians of the Bethpage High School Band.
Color and beauty came in the form of the High
School Cheerleaders and High School Kickline.
But, watching the Midget football players and
cheerleaders march by is always a joy unmatched!
Many of them seem doll like in their regulation
uniforms. Holding down the impulse to hug all of
them is very hard indeed, after all before us is
what makes the great football and cheering teams
of Bethpage. It all begins at pint size! The little
guys and girls can start their professional career at
age 7, the bigger guys and girls are ready to start
trying for Jr. High teams at age 12 nd 13. Altogether
this year there are 180 youths in
B.A.M.F.O.
Good Luck Bethpage Midget players and
cheerleaders - Hope your season turns out well,
we know how hard you will be working.
Right behind their 'men' were the Pee Wee Cheerleaders.
Always a good woman behind every good man.
