Description	Two-sided, three-fold real estate brochure circa 1930 for an “Absolute Auction Sale” at Glen Head Station on June 6th, “A Day of Opportunity for All Who Have Faith in the Future of Nassau County” for the “Glen Head Overlook,” located east of Railroad Avenue and south of Glen Head Road. Brochure is two-color, black text with red headlines. Hand-written notations in green ink, probably made sometime in the 1970s by the owner of the brochure, indicate information about various locations, such as the homeowner or occupant. Brochure includes 10 photos of sites such as the Long Island Rail Road stationhouse with property to be developed in the background, a beach near the property to be developed, Engineers Country Club clubhouse, and several residences; a drawing depicting “Glen Head of the Future;” and a map showing lots with lot numbers and the site of the new $175,000 Glen Head Public School purchased the School District No2. By Popular vote, Monday, May 19, 1925. Roads noted include Cherry, Elm Orchard, Prospect, Post, Sheppard and Wall streets, Locust, Railroad and Union avenues, and Glen Head Road.
