Given to B.H.S. Junior
Apple Bank Outstanding Player of the Game Stephanie Christian is
cdhgratulated by Cablevision's Ldng Island Sports Network announcer
Leandra Reilly. Christian, a junior at Bethpage High School, had 15 spikes
and seven kills, although the Bethpage girls volleyball team lost to Wantagh

Nassau County Executive Thomas
S. Gulotta today named Robert J.
McDonald as Chief Deputy County
Executive of Nassau County. McDonald,
a resident of Bethpage, previously
served as a Deputy County
Executive and brings 20 years of
governmentally related service to the
new position.
"Bob McDonald is a well respected,
experienced public servant who will
fill this important position," Gulotta
said. "I am pleased to have someone
as knowledgable as Bob to assume the
important duties associated with the
position of Chief Deputy County
Executive."
In his new position, McDonald will
have authority to implement and officially
approve various documents and
procedures in the absence of the
County Executive.
McDonald will also continue to
have direct liaison between several
major County departments, including

Bethpage Grand Larceny Arrest
Det. Paul Danielle of the 8th Squad
reports the details of an arrest for
Grand Larceny 2nd degree, that
occurred over a period of four years
and involved the larceny of $100,000
dollars.
The larcenies started in January
1984 and terminated in October 1988.
They were allegedly committed by
Kathleen Geraghty 33, of 73 Prairie
Lane, Levittown while she was
employed as a gas station attendant
at the A & D Shell Station, Stewart
Ave. and Farmers Ave., Bethpage.
The defendant was arrested on 11 /
02/88 at 4:00 PM after an investigation
was recently conducted when the
owner Alexander DeRose discovered
the numerous larcenies.
The defendant will be arraigned at
1st District Court, Hempstead.
The 8th Squad is continuing the
investigation.
