20th Anniversary at this year's glorious
Old Fashioned Independence
Day festivities on Wednesday, July 4,
I from 12:30 to 4 P.M.
County Executive Thomas S.
Gulotta said that this will be an
authentic re-creation of the spirited
Fourth of July as it was celebrated
on Long Island in the year 1851 and
will include a parade, patriotic
speeches, militia drills, old fashioned
music and children's games.
Visitors can bring bag lunches to

fashioned fiddle music can he heard
until i P.M. The Old Bcihpagc Village
Singers will perfoiin a scleclion ol
Village Crossroads. A militia drill with
musket fire will also take place, as well
as a Brass Band concert.
Old Bethpage Village Restoration
is operated by the Museum Services
Division of the Nassau County
Department of Recreation and Parks

and is located on Round Swamp Road
in Old Bethpage. one mile south of
Long Island Expressway, Exit 4E. It
is open every day except Mondays
from 10 A.M. to 5 PM
