American Legion Installation
& Awards Night
Gar^f Bretton, of Bretton's Broadway Deft, Bethpage, is Joined
by Linda Candela, left, Chairperson of the Bethpage High School
Fine Arts Dept. and Bethpage High School graduate Allison
Rufrano of Bethpaae. They all were recipients of American
Legion Medals which were presented to them at last Saturday's
awards ceremony. Gary received the American Legion Gold
Citizenship Medal for his community service to Bethpage. Linda
Candela was awarded the American Legion Gold Americanism
Medal for teaching her students Americanism through the arts
and for her effort in this year's first Americanism in Art contest.
Allison Rufrano also received the American Legion Gold
Americanism Medal as the overall winner of the American Legion
Americanism in Art contest and for best in category, pastels.
