CAROL BRADY WINNER OF
GIFT OF LIFE DRAWING
Donna insinga, of the accounting firm of Marcum and Kllegman, picks
the winning ticket of the Qift of Life drawing at the'Bethpage Rotary
Club, as Dan Carroll assists. The priie, a recirculated 20" T.V., raised
over two thousand dollars which will he used to save a child's life.
Bethpage resident Carol Brady
is the winner of the Gift of Life
drawing held at the weekly meeting
of the Bethpage Rotary Club
on November 19th. Over two
thousand dollars was raised by the
raffle of a recirculated television
set which was previously won by
club member Dan Carroll, at a
church fair in Northport. The raffle
money, added to additional donations
by the Bethpage Rotary
Club, will save a child's life from
a South American country not
having the advanced technology
we have here in the United States.
Now that the funds hfve been
raised, Rotarlan Luz Roseo||al,
Assistant Treasurer of the Banic of
New York, is in contact with the
Guayaquil Rotary Club In Ecuador,
and arrangements are being
made for the recipient of a heart
operation. The child is expected
to be flown here from Ecuador to
undergo the operation' at on© of
our local hospitals several months
from now.
Dan Carroll states that the success
of this project Is due to the
wide-ranging support of everyone
from the employees of Photonews,
to the girls at Northport Health
Food, to Jill Parker and the Rotary
Interact Club - as well as to each
individual Rotarian of the Bethpage
Rotary Club.

As everyone can see Bethpage
is dressing up for the holidays with
brand new holiday decorations.
This year as was previously
reported the Bethpage Chamber
of Commerce purchased their
lights outright so as to be able to
add to the decorations each year.
During the past 2 years the
Chamber was greatly helped by
generous residents who donated
to help raise funds'to c r ^ t e 'a
festive atmosphere for ourlown.
This year Tribune readers have
already sent in over $1200 to help
fund this event and the Chamber
truly appreciates your generous
donations. But they still need
your help. Give a little to light a
lot. Fill out the coupon on page
12 and mail it to the Chamber at

in a special issue of the Tribune.
