The Youth Employment Service
opened its doors for the first
time in June of 1971 and became
the first, full-time employment

were placed in jobs through the

many of them were rehired this
year by their original employers.

$2,500 per year from the Town of
Oyster Bay which they shared
with the Bethpage Youth Council.
"It was through donations,"
