Tredwell H. Hopkins hajS been »amed controller of New York University.
His appointment was announced on Tuesday, April IB by George
F. Baughman, vice president for business affairs and treasurer.
, Mr. Hopkins has been with NYU almost 21 years. From 1934 to 1844
lie hesded the student aid section in the bureau's office. For the next
three years he served as a ^leclal .|

assistant bursar. In 1956 Mr. Hopkins
was promoted to bursar, and In
1980 he became acting controller.

NYU. Mr. Hopkins has taught accounting
