Frecport High School has always produceti football teams of
championship calibre . . . FHS Coach BILL ASHLEY was nationally-famous
for crcaUng t!te best gridiron teams in high school circles
and for developing grid playcre who became college stm-s throughout
the country.
This year w» have a great coach in JOE MARCINO %vho la working
wonders with the young and new FHS team. So they lost two
games - so what? With the "Old Frecport Spirit," tho FHS "Red
Devils" will again show Ihelr competiiion the kind of playing and
sportsmanship which made the nimo "Frecport High Sdiool" highly
respected.
The 106S Red Devils nre tcarhing fast both In offensive nnd
defensive plays and this week when they take on Etmont, wo will aee
a greatly improved ieam.
Let's always back up our FHS athletes bccauao tlielr sph-it can
be strengthened by our spirit.
On October 16, Frecport takes on Hewlett in our next home game
at Frecport Stadium. There'll be a colorful parade storting at 12:30
and led by the FHS Band. Everyone is invited to join tlie parade and
to sec the game. Tickets available at the gate or now at the high
school office.

Freeman Miller Dies E. Freeman MOIer, M.D., «B, 142 South Ocean Avenue, Frceport,
outstanding gynecologist who practiced In Frecport lor 41 yenra
died Sept..30. 1965 at his homo. '"
Dr. Miller, the son of a Methodist Minister, Idgui' A Miller,
and the former Jennie Van CIcaf, was born in Ocean Orove, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs,
Susan Miller and his two dough-
