held by the local Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Huby Lawrence, employment cordjnator of the local
EOC holds the life saving donation which will enable the anti-poverty agency to continue helping

his old neighborhood In Baldwin where he was bom. ••
Mr- Europe who ^as emotionally moved by tlu- presentation, had been faced with the dLiqon-tlnuance-
of a large number of key services required by the arca'.s poor clTectlve August 1, 1068 following
the; recent cutback-in Federal Fund.s.
The money was rabed by the Martin Luther King, Jr.. Inter-Fuilh Foundation of Freeport from
pj-iynte and civic and':relig!ous,donations over the past month. ' ,
In pVesenting the check to Mr. Europe, Mr. Glacken .said he hoped this would, in soma way,
