was announced at 11 o'clock Wednesday
by the presidents of the
three institutions, Donald M. Steele
of the Baldwin National Bank, Herbert
Toulmin of the Peoples State
Bank:of Baldwin and Augustus B.
Weller of the Meadow Brook,
The three presldsnts said a merger
would lake place If the stockholders
of their resjx'clive institutions
and Stale and Federal banking
authorities "approved. No date
