In Two Deaths
FREEPOKT - An accident
involving a speeding motorcyde
and a cat resulted in two CUalities
Thiusday morning, July 7.
The driver of the autoiDobDe
was Jane Fenyo^ 67, a retired
English professor.' inadcias and
anist, «rho had lived In Freeport
for many, years." The cydist,
27-year-old Frederick Baron, was
repotted to have been an. employee
of Orient Express, a
motorcycle shop on Sunrise Highway,
near tbe scene of the acd-dest,
the intersectioa of Brook-side
Avenne and'Sunrise Highway
in Freepott.
Baron, of North Merrick, was
operating a 1979 Suzuki motorcycle
westbound on Sunrise High-.
way. The cyde was being tested
following repairs in the shop.
Mrs. Fenyo, police say was
apparently maung a left turn
from Sunrise Highway onto North
Brookside, having travelled east
on the Highway.
According to Donald Wecklein,

claimed two llvM this p«st Thursday, July'7. The motorcycle,
driven by Frederick Baron, 27, in employee oi Orient Expraes, hit the
car at such laat speed that It rammed through the metal pinning the
car'a driver, Jane Fenyo of Freeport. As the gas tank on the cyde
exploded. It ignited the ear and both blazed up, trapping Mrs. Fenyo.
