"Last year we came in and got
some actwn," said'Fran Campion,
presdeot of tbe North East

Mrs. Campion called for the

aboiit fbtir more years before he
is legally forced to retire at 70.
"We have a good poBce force,"
said Mrs. Campion, "who unfortunately
can only follow the

-We can no longer afford this one.
We DOW need a get tough, crime-fighting
police chief...We doot

Mrs. Campion ooiidnded, asking

Campion was foBowed by
Bob Brauer. a resident of Btoad-way,
who slid "something should

It's time for a change." said .
Brauer. ts he asked the Village

But Mayor Wiffiam H. Wlute
