Open-Air Rally Saturday
As part of a world-wide oteerv-ance
to comm^tnorate the Salvation
Army's 90th anniversary, an open-ah
rally will be held Saturday after-
.noon at 3 o'clock in front of the
P. W. Woolworth store on South
Main street near, Newton boulevard.
Brigadier Erpi®t Newton of the
Fi'eeport unit will have charge of
the program, which will include
-music. The rally will launch a
spiritual crusade entitled, "For
Christ and the People."
The Salvation Army was started

at an outdoor meeting around a
London lamp post.
