He is a Past President of the Fiee-port

Memorial Library at a' cost of
$240,000, subject to pemUsslvo referendum.
The plan approved by the Vfflage
Board-waa drawn by Charles A..
Wood of AmltyviUe, a prominent
architect, who Is a Braduate or
Freeport High Scbool. tt will involve
a cost of $240^00, a savings
of $110,000 from the $350,000 plan
defeated at a public referendum
last Spring.
The new plan provides for the
use of limestone ateiUar to the material
from which the present library
