Gilbert DeGampi is Father of The Year!
Gilbert DeCampi is The Leader's 2004 Father of the Year. Jessica DeCampi of Westside Avenue nominated her father in a letter to The Leader. The letter that won the honor follows:

When I had a three-hour break between classes he would pick me up at school, bring me home, then bring me back again and then pick me up again. He never complained and he never denied me a ride. He always dropped everything and helped me out.
My father has taught me most of what I
know and has helped create the person I
have become (which I think is a pretty good
