Voices welcomed new school year
STUDENTS AT FREEPORT'S De La Salle School recently started another school year. (See page 15 for story.) -
Performing Arts In Baldwin
Baldwin High School students Audrey Garcia, Victoria Garcia, Deanna Goehring, Ian Robertson, and Jonathan Smith were chosen by rigorous audition to be members of Nassau-Suffolk Performing Arts, a highly select student performing group on Long Island.
Audrey and Ian were selected for Concert Band, Victoria for Wind Symphony, and Deanna and Jonathan for Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
The students will rehearse weekly with their groups and perform at the Tilles Center in February arid May.
