On Saturday Septemk)er 10, the community of Bethpage gathered
together to remember those lost, support families whose lives were
shattered, salute our Veterans and our Soldiers, pay tribute to all our
first responders and honor all the heroes of September 11, 2001.
This special night of remembrance was attended by hundreds of
Bethpage residents who took part in something very special. The gor-geous
flag that hung in the center of our town and the piece of World
Trade Center steel were the focal points of a candle light vigil which
certainly prove that we will never forget the events of that tragic day.
