The town of Bethpage has changed markedly over the past sixty years
— however one thing residents have been able to count on each year is
Little League baseball. Thousands of kids have passed through the pro-gram
and learned about teamwork and sportsmanship as well as the values

necessary to be responsible community members. Next year it will
be time to play ball for the 60th year in a row. Be sure to sign up to
play baseball or softball in 2012.
Bethpage Baseball (the largest sports program in Bethpage) had a
typically strong 2011 season, with about 700 youngsters participat-ing
on 55 teams in eight age levels of youth baseball and softball,
but has added some changes for next year. The current
Commissioner Dennis Baggia was elected in 2008 by over 80% of
the vote. Commissioner Dennis Baggia with his board; Deputy
