KING KULLEN TRADITION RAISES OVER $100,000
FOR LriTLE FLOWER CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES
The 29th annual James A.
Cuilen Memorial Golf Outing held
by King Kullen Grocery Company
successfully raised over $100,000
for Little Flower Children and
Family Services of New York. The
not-for-profit organization finds
adoptive and foster homes for chil-dren
on Long Island and in New
York City.
During the presentation of
the check to Little Flower Children
and Family Services, King Kullen
Vice President Thomas K. Cullen
stated, "This annual golf outing
was inaugurated 29 years ago by
the King Kullen family to support
Little Flower's mission to care for
children. We hope to share the
value and strength we find as a
family-run business and believe
Little Flower Children and Family
Services demonstrates this daily
through the care of children and
those in need."
King Kullen has raised
over $3 million for Little Flower
since the first golf outing held in
1983. Further, members of the
Cullen family are personally
involved and have actively sup-ported
many programs as well as
the construction of the eight cot-tages
that provide a residential
setting for more than 100 children
and teenagers at Little Flower's
Wading River, New York, location.

children of all ages at our resi-dences
as well as place children

because of the leadership support
of King Kullen and its close circle
of family and friends," said Little
Flower Executive Director Grace
LoGrande. "Their stewardship has
meant that even in a challenging

Twenty-nine Years of Caring: King Kulien Grocery Co., Inc., recently presented a check for $100,000
to Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York, an organization that finds adoptive and
foster homes for children on Long Island and in New York City. Since 1983, King Kullen has raised

Wading River, NY, executive
offices in Brooklyn Heights, and
additional locations in Flatbush,
Brooklyn, and Jamaica, Queens.
Little Flower also operates the
only residential special-act public
school district in Nassau and
Suffolk Counties, which offers
academic services for children
