Where do all of those
lovely greenbacks go after
sturdy workers and friends
have hopped into the dunk
tank for them, sweated over
hot grills for them, and
danced and sang on the stage
for them?
You might ask Vincent
Christiano, Grist Mill treas-urer,
the Village "keepers of
the cash," or any of the
Committee members. This
year, in particular, those
hard-earned greenbacks will
be flying off in many direc-tions.
Not many of the cas-ual
visitors note all of the
improvements, but lighting
Doctor Lizanne Gamble,

will begin her residency
at Upstate Medical Center,
in internal medicine, on July
1, 1989. Doctor Gamble is
the daughter of Mrs. Eliza-beth
Gamble, of 230 Atlantic
Ave., Lynbrook. Congratu-lations

of the displays - one of the
big problems - will be better
and there will not be the
many "blackouts" during
visiting hours. The rare, pre-
Civil War large map on the
upper floor has been care-fully
restored and preserved
by an expert. This map was
badly cracked and the names
of the owners of many of the
houses printed on it were
gradually falling off. The
leaks in the roof will be
repaired, and Tom Reddy's
Tool Shop should be ready
for a'grand opening" shortly.
The exhibit is being com-pleted
with the aid of antique
Richard Meagher
Honor Society, the Student
Council, the "It's Academic"
team and the Mock Trial
team of East Rockaway
High School. Richard
enjoys music and has shared
his musical talents by par-ticipating
in Band, Jazz
Band and Chorus. He is a
well-rounded young man
who has earned the respect
tool experts. Also, many
Frolic dollars went towards
building the new set of
FROLIC booths used for
the first time on June 17th.
The usual changing of
special exhibits each month
will be taking place. The
military uniforms in the
"Fashion Corner" will be
replaced by a ladies' Garden
Party and upstairs in the
case still housing Steve Tor-borg's
L.LR.R., display, will
be a number of turn-of-the-century
dishes used on the
tables of the elite.
Come see us!
