Would you believe a political
rally with just two (2) SHORT
speeches?
That's the promise of the
Hempstead Town Republican
Committee which will sponsor a
Grand Old Political rally Wed-nesday,
Oct. 27th, beginning at 9
p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 80
Clinton Street, Hempstead.
A 17-piece band and some
Barber Shop Quartet harmony
will help bring back the days
when a political rally was truly a
fun-filled evening, according to
Assemblyman Joseph M.
Margiotta, Chairman of the Town
Ck)mmittee.
There'll be free food and free
beer and the two guest speakers.
District Attorney William Cahn
and Hempstead Town Presiding
Supervisor Francis T. Purcell,
will keep their comments to a
minimum.
The short speeches will allow
guests more time to dance to the
music of Greg Raffa's band and
listen to the harmony of the
famous Barber Shop Quartet of
Nassau County Comptroller
Angelo Roncallo, District At-torney
William Cahn, County
Treasurer John Scaduto and
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor
John Burke.
The melodic voices of Lottery
Commissioner Vincent Balletta
and Hempstead Town Coun-cilman
Anthony Imbarrato's
wife, Vicki, will also add to the
entertainment of the evening.
In all, it should be a Grand Old
Political Rally that promises a
grand old time for all.
