Career Opportunities
At Lynbrook High
On Wednesday evening, May 22
at »:0() PM in the cafeteria the
Lynbrook High School PTA will
present a program entitled:
"Career Opportunities i'or
Women in the Business World."
This will be PTA's final general
membership meeting of the
school year.
A representative from
Katharine Gibbs School in
Huntington, Long Island, will
present an overall view to PTA
members of career opportunities
available for women in today's
business world. This will include
career planning, training
available and guidance for
beginners and returnees to the
business world.
Prior to the presentation of the
program, PTA will hold a
business meeting, followed by
Installation Ceremonies. The
installing officer will be Mrs.
Howard Hines.
All persons interested in job
opportunities are invited to at-tend.
Refreshments will be
served.

Malverne announces the Annual
Candidates Forum to be held on
May 16,1974 at Howard T. Herber
Middle School Music Room at
8:15 P.M. This forum is spon-sored
as a public service so that
the residents of the Malverne
School District may meet, hear
and question all candidates for
the seat of school board trustee.
Plan to attend this important
meeting so that you are an in-formed
voter. REMEMBER:

Central Council also urges all
residents of our school district to
vote on the School Budget on May
21. It is your responsibility to
participate in this vital decision.

[Center] Arthur M Grauer [Hewlett], manager of Point Set Indoor
Racquet club, Oceanside, and [r] his wife, Carol, hospitality Tennis
hostess in charge of registration at Point Set, go over plans for the
upcoming 1st Annual Tennis Tournament to benefit the Nassau Heart
Association, with [I] Mrs. Jerome Sklar [Hewlett], chairman of the
newly formed Hewlett Unit. All proceeds from the tournament, to be
held from May 28 to June 2, will be donated to the Hewlett Unit of the
Nassau Heart Association. Mrs. Grauer, in addition to her duties at
Point Set, is Vice-President of the Hewlett Unit.
Joseph Jaspan fright center! formerly Nassau County Attorney is sworn in as State Court of Claims
Judge by Administrative Judge Thomas P. Farley as wife Rosalyn and Nassau County Executive
Ralph G. Caso look on. Swearing in was held May 2 following Jaspan's elevation to the bench by
Governor Wilson.
