At 4 o'clock the scholars had all booka, slates, sponges and rulers tucke<l away, ready for tbe dismtssal bell. Professor I'orter ascended the rostrum, said he was going to turn over a new leaf and asked Mi.ss Palmer if she were ready. She flushed slightly. The professor kissed bis bride. The pupils, recovering from their surprise, lustily gave the "three times three" football yell for the couple. I'rofessor i'orter is kuown us an artist, soldier and educator. The bride is a beautiful young lady of many accomplishments.
