The dedication ceremonies of the new flre house took plaee on Satur¬ day afternoon, October 27th. There was a large number of .Massapequa people present, and several from out of town. KxForeman W. .1. Hofman was master of ceremonies, and the affair was carried out with a marked degree of success. A parad<' of the firemen with the newly painted hook and ladder truck proceeded to the fire house. F>x-Foreman Hofman then introduced the Rev. William Wiley, who, after a brief address, offi^red a very appropriate and touch¬ ing prayer. J. W. Miss Mulcahy told the main points of the loan in regards to iuterest, date of maturity and denominations, and emphasized MM- point why we should huy the bonda.
