The members of the cast toolc their parts well and many present said that It was one of the best shows they had ever wit¬ nessed in this part of Long Island. On account of the bad weather of the last few days, the many sojourn¬ ers here remained indoors. At the Nassau Hotel dinner parltes, card partines and dansants helped wile away the time.
The Oceanside Civic Association held its annual dinner at the Nassau on Thursday last.

The hearing of the viiiage and the Long Beach Power Company was resumed on Monday by Commissioner Emmet. The reduction of the rate on street lighting and the permit to erect a new lighting equipment will be discussed. .
