Seaman, and she and all those who worked so faithfully tn make the affair a success, deserve much credit. Also great thanks ahould be credited to .Mr. William Smith, who so giatefully donated the Ice.
On .Monday, August 27, the ladies will probably hold another luncheon between the hours of 12 and 1 o'clock. The fee will be as the lasl, 15 cents. It ia understood that the luncheon Win be given under the supervision of .Mrs. Harold Kropp, ,Mrs. Oscar Luttle and .Miss Grace .Mott. The Nassau County Review, in I recent issue, has this to say:

During the storm Thursday night lightning struck the Massapequa wa¬ ter supply plant, and It was complete¬ ly destroyed by dre. The householders are busy borrowing water here and there from those fortunate enough to have hand pumps in addition to the running supply.
