WHEREAS, the maximum
amount proposed to be expended
as stated in the petition is the
sum of $ 100,000 and
WHEREAS, said petition has
been duly filed with the Town
Board of the Town of Oyster Bay,
Nassau County, New York, and
has been duly approved in writing
by the Board of Water Commissioners
of the Massapequa
Water District in said Town, for
the construction of lateral water
mains, including the necessary
appurtenances, located within the
boundaries of the said Water
District, which lateral water
mains were not described in any
map or plan which accompanied
the petition for the original estab-lishment
of such Water District;
and
WHEREAS, itappears that such
petition has been duly signed and
acknowledged in the manner required
by Section 199 of the Town
Law; and s
WHEREAS, the Board of Assessors
of the County of Nassau
has certified that the signatures
attached to the aforesaid petition
represent an aggregate of more
than fifty per cent ( 50%) of the
ownership of the entire frontage
of the above described streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE
undersigned, being a majority of
the members of the Town Board
of the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau
County, New York, pursuant to
Section 199 of - the Town Law,
of the State of New York, DO
HEREBY
ORDER, that the Town Board
of the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau
County, New York shall meet
at the Town Hall, Oyster Bay,
New York, on November 21,1967,
at 10 o'clock A. M. ( Prevailing
time) for the purpose of considering
the said petition and hearing
all persons interested in the
subject thereof concerning the
same, which petition if approved
will be known as Extension No.
108.
