Rev. Kenneth E. Hoover, Senior
Pastor of the Methodist
Church of Farmingdale has r e turned
to his pulpit after a vacation.
Luke A. Keating of 1 Mill
Lane, South Farmingdale passed
away suddenly last Tuesday. The
deceased is survived by his wife
Augusta, three daughters, Mrs.
Margaret O'Donnell, Patricia and
Maureen, and two grandchildren;
as well as his mother, Mrs. Mary
Keating. Also two brothers, William
and Thomas.
A requiem mass was offered
on Friday, at St. Kilian's Roman
Catholic Church. Followed by
interment at St. Charles Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were
under the direction of McCourt
and Trudden Funeral Home,
Farmingdale.
Begin Memorial Book Fund
The Farmingdale Public Library
Board of Trustees have
established a memorial book fund
for the late Mrs. Amelia Andrew.
In recognition of the years
work on behalf of the Library,
a fund has been created by the
Trustees to purchase books in
subject areas of her interests.
